The green ribbon symbolizes the continuation of life from organ and tissue donation. Wearing the green ribbon helps create awareness about the urgent need for organ and tissue donors.

The key message is that people need to get the facts about donation in order to make their own personal decision about whether or not to be a donor. And, most importantly, they need to share that decision with family members in order to be sure that their wishes will be honored.

Wear your green ribbon with pride and be prepared to tell people that it represents your commitment to organ and tissue donor awareness.
